Four steps, the same every time, with a text at each one if you'd like them.
You call or book
Tell us what the door is doing. A photo helps him bring the right parts.
He confirms
You get a text with the arrival window, and another when he's on the way.
Price, then work
He checks the door and confirms the price. Nothing starts until you say yes.
Invoice and photos
Pay by card or a link. Your before and after photos come with the invoice.
Pixel & Porch note: this is the job flow from the Master Plan (8f #25) in the customer's words. The day after the job, an approved review request goes out (core piece #3).
New doors from this season.
Every job is photographed before and after, and the photos come with your invoice. A few of this year's installs:

Pixel & Porch note: in the real system these come from the "Office Photos – today" Shortcut, matched to each job automatically (8f #24), with location data stripped before anything is posted. Sample photos from Canva; swap in before-and-after pairs when we have them.
Pick a time. He'll confirm by text.
For a door that won't open, call instead. A stuck door shouldn't wait for a calendar.
Pixel & Porch note: a mock booking, drawn by hand, so no booking account is needed. The "Text me updates" box is the opt-in (core piece #4, the customer list): customers only get texts if they said yes.
What neighbors say.
Spring snapped at 7 in the morning with my car inside. He was there before lunch and told me the price before he started.
I got a text when he was on the way and the photos came with the invoice. Easiest repair I've ever booked.
He measured, showed me three door styles on his tablet, and the new door went in three weeks later. No surprises.
Pixel & Porch note: on a real client's site, this shows real Google reviews with permission. Review requests go out the day after each job from one template the owner approved once.

Do you charge for estimates?
Estimates for new doors and openers are free. For repairs, you'll hear the price on site before any work starts.
Can I open the door with a broken spring?
Please don't. The door is far heavier than it looks, and the opener can strip its gears trying. Leave it closed and call.
How do I pay?
Card on site or a payment link by text or email. Checks are fine for new doors.
Will you text me things I didn't ask for?
No. You only get texts about your own visit, and only if you checked the box when you booked.
